The gang is all here and we are thrilled to feature sitar legends Pandit Manilal Nag, Pandit Krishna Bhatt; sarod maestro, Ustad Ali Akbar Khan; tabla maestros Pandit Anindo Chatterjee, Ustad Shabbir Nisar, Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri and the Jimi Hendrix of mandolin, U. David Freeman is a percussionist, composer and educator based in Brooklyn.
David plays the tabla in the Farukkhabad tradition under the guidance of Ustad Shabbir Nisar of Hyderabad, India, Pandit Anindo Chatterjee of Kolkata, India and Prasanna Kumar of Impal, India.
